2017 Landscape Architecture Speaker Series: Nahal Sohbati
Nahal Sohbati, 2017 ASLA National Award of Excellence recipient and MFA Student shares her national award-winning Master's Thesis project Ridge Lane. Born in Tehran, Nahal always had a passion for art and design. She received her bachelors in Interior Design from Ajman University of Science and Technology, Dubai. Soon after she followed her passion for design by studying Landscape Architecture at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. Her studies at AAU have proven very successful with an award-winning garden show design “Sublimation” and a 2017 ASLA Award of Excellence for her Master's Thesis project Ridge Lane, which is under construction now.
